Location: On-site - Clifton Springs, NY
Employment Type: Part-time, seasonal
Hours: 16-25 hours/week, typically 7:00am-3:30pm
Required Availability: Wednesdays, Fridays, and occasional Sundays
Compensation: $16.50-$19/hour depending on experience

ABOUT

Located in the Finger Lakes region of New York, Trademarks Flower Farm is a small-scale specialty cut flower farm producing high-quality flowers for local customers through farmers markets, CSA subscriptions, and other direct-to-consumer outlets.

Our farm focuses on efficient production, beautiful flowers, and strong attention to detail. The work is fast-paced, physical, and rewarding for people who enjoy working with their hands and being outdoors.

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking field crew member to support daily work on the farm.

This position plays an important role in executing the farm’s crop plan and preparing flowers for our customers. The work includes a wide range of hands-on farm tasks throughout the season and requires someone who enjoys physical work, can stay focused on detailed tasks, and works well independently.

This is a great position for someone who enjoys working outside, staying active, and seeing the direct results of their work in the crops they help grow.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily tasks may include:

  • Harvesting flowers according to crop quality standards

  • Transplanting seedlings into the field and high tunnels

  • Seed starting and greenhouse propagation work

  • Installing plant supports and staking crops

  • Weeding, cultivating, and maintaining crop beds

  • Fertilizing crops and supporting general plant care

  • Processing harvested flowers (sleeving bunches and bouquet making)

  • Assisting with CSA and farmers market order fulfillment

  • Supporting general farm tasks and seasonal projects as needed

Farm work changes daily depending on weather and crop needs, so flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous farm, landscaping, nursery, or outdoor work experience is helpful but not required

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly and perform physical work for several hours at a time

  • Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, wind, rain, and mud

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully

  • Able to work efficiently and independently without constant supervision

  • Reliable transportation to the farm in Clifton Springs
